Young Meretz Yachad is the youth wing of the Israeli Meretz Yachad party. All members of Meretz Yachad aged 18-35 are automatically members of YMY. Additionally, YMY activates student groups in university and college campuses throughout Israel, where the activists are not necessarily registered members of the mother party.
The issues YMY is committed to include reaching a peaceful solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict based on a Two-state solution through negotiation (such as The Geneva Initiative), social justice, human rights, gender equality, minority rights, separation of religion and state, elimination of corruption, environmental justice and viable development.
The current chairperson of YMY is Uri Zaki, the vice chairperson is Maya Crabtree and the President of the YMY committee is Hagit Ofran.
